Do you long to minister as Jesus did to the lost and hurting of His world? To those who are neglected, abused, and trafficked by others who would prey on them and use them for their own gain?
Come and join with us as we look to the cross as the starting point for true compassion and love. We will spend three months in our lecture phase learning what it means to walk deeply with Christ, and then two months will be given to applying God’s compassion to the world on the mission field.
Check out the Compassion DTS 2010 page for more information.

Image is everything, right?
The right image unlocks the door to popularity, boys, success, opportunity ... acceptance.
What if the mask was stripped away? What if you never had the ‘right’ image to begin with?
Is there more to you than meets the eye?
God thinks so.

It was overwhelming to see the outpouring of support for our Nation’s unborn.
Once again we were privileged to join with the “KIDS” delegation and march on behalf of infants with Down Syndrome.
Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rogers addressed us before the March and updated us on the progress being made to insure the protection of equal rights for our children and grandchildren with Down Syndrome, and programs designed to meet their special needs.
It is time to unite together as never before, recognizing that the hundreds of thousands on the Mall in DC on Friday represent millions more across this land who oppose the slaughter of precious babies.
This fall we will run a very unique Discipleship Training School with a special Compassion track.
Join us as we address this issue, and the issues of children and adults with special needs, as well as those caught in the web of human trafficking.
Take a stand for righteousness and let your voice be heard.

Next week, we will be joining with the National Right To Life March in Washington DC, marching behind the K I D S banner.
It is imperative that we take a stand against abortion of all children, and speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. We had the opportunity last year to meet with Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rogers, who also has a child with Down Syndrome, and will be meeting with her again this year (see picture below).
Abortion takes the lives of over 90% of unborn children diagnosed in the womb with Down Syndrome.
An unimaginable statistic!
Join with us on the Mall next week. You will find us holding K I D S signs and banners.
Date: Friday January 22nd, 2010
We’d love to see you there!

What if you could reach the rich, the poor, the famous, the ordinary, the not-so-ordinary all in one city? Musicians, actors, artists, college students, families, the homeless, teenagers, tourists, businessmen. The list can go on and on. All in one place, one city...

Update from the Summer

GO Camps
Our GO campers, Andrew and David had a wonderful time working with the team from North Carolina. It was an amazing growing experience for the both of them. They worked with many different ministries, and they traveled all over New York City. God really worked in their lives over the course of the week, and they had an amazing time working with the team. City Ministries We had 6 teams that we worked with this summer coming from states like Texas, Ohio, Florida and South Carolina. They helped us with Prayer Stations in Harlem and Union Square where we saw people come to the Lord. We also joined with other ministries like NYC Relief, World Vision, Operation Exodus and Father's Heart. This provided a wide variety of opportunities for these youth groups to evangelize, work with the homeless and do after-school ministries. We try to go to the same places so we have a long-term impact- to the point that even the restaurants we choose to eat at start to get to know us. Another great opportunity for sharing the Gospel in the city. We thank you for all your prayers for this summer!
We are being joined by two new staff members who have a big heart for New York City and can't wait to get here!! Matt was part of the first City DTS and Ange did a Performing Arts DTS with us in Smithtown. Both of them will be joining us in the fall to help Ashley prepare for the second City DTS in January. We are so thrilled to have them come on our team so pray for them for their provision in finances and their visas.

GO Camp team returns from outreach!
Friday, 31 July 2009 19:12
Last night we welcomed home our team of six from the GO Camp international outreach. They have just spent two weeks in an undisclosed nation assisting the long-term missionaries in the area and leading vacation Bible schools. It was a great success!
Our GO Camp domestic outreach begins on Monday inside New York City. They will be partnering with our city staff and a visiting youth group from North Carolina for daily outreach in the city. Keep them in your prayers!
