What is compassion?

The dictionary says it is a feeling of distress and pity for the suffering or misfortune of another, often including the desire to alleviate it.

The Bible says compassion is an attribute of our Almighty God. It is a part of His character, the very essence of His nature. It is the ability to share in the sufferings of others and, like Jesus, to reach out with acceptance and mercy, revealing the Heart of the Father to His lost and broken children.

Come and join with us as we look to the cross as the starting point for true compassion and love.

Our main focus during the school will be adults and children with special needs and human trafficking.

We will spend three months in Lecture Phase learning what it means to walk deeply with Christ.

Some Topics we will cover during Lecture Phase are:

  • Hearing the Voice of God
  • The Nature and Character of God
  • The Father Heart of God
  • Personal Identity in Christ
  • Evangelism
  • Spiritual Warfare
  • Relationships
  • The Holy Spirit
  • Apologetics

...and other topics specific to the school’s focus

Possible Outreach locations for human trafficking will be New York City, Washington D.C. and San Francisco working alongside ministries that are reaching out to these precious hurting women and children.

Those ministering to adults and children with special needs will have hands-on opportunities on outreach to assist those who struggle daily with handicaps and disabilities.

But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. - Psalm 86:15
