The photography track here at YWAM Metro New York will include the core curriculum of a DTS as mandated by the University of the Nations. We will offer a photography course teaching you the basics of the camera, correct usage, rules of operation and how to use photography appropriately to serve others in ministry using your own giftings and personal style.
We welcome everybody interested in photography no matter how much or how little experience you have.
The lecture phase of the school will focus primarily on the discipleship of the individual, your personal relationship with God and how to use photography as a tool for evangelism. During the outreach phase of the school, you will both serve and put what you have learned into practice. There will be weekly projects developing your skills in photography and you will finish the photography track with a photo portfolio from the whole school.
Note: A digital SLR camera (preferably Canon or Nikon) is required in order to attend this DTS-track.
We want to grow in our relationships with God to recognize and capture His glory in everyday moments and learn how to share Jesus’ love with others!

UPDATE: John Olin is going to be leading the Photography Track!
