Millions of Immigrants live in the Metro Area!
Many of these immigrants come to the Metro New York area from countries that have had extremely limited access to the gospel of Jesus Christ. However, just because they now live here, doesn’t mean they’ve heard the Good News.
Some statistics:
- Less than 1% of people in Bangladesh have heard the Gospel
- We have over 70,000 Bengali people right here in the New York Metro area, with the largest concentration in Queens
This is just one example of the hundreds of unreached people groups in our area.
YWAM Metro New York’s Frontier Missions Department is dedicated to reach these groups with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
