The YWAM Metro New York City Ministry has a heart to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the streets and hearts of this great city, along with other influential cities across the world.
We offer opportunities for short-term outreaches in New York City as well as across the globe.
The story of this world began in a garden. It will end in a city.
Why YWAM?
Youth With A Mission Metro New York has hosted more than 70,000 short-term team members to New York City over the past 19 years.
Teams have come from churches, universities and other organizations, and have varied in age from children, to youth, to college age, to adults. We offer a variety of different ministry opportunities, such as Prayer Stations, homeless ministries, children ministries, intercession and so on.
Each ministry opportunity will be selected with your team's needs, giftings and spiritual maturity in mind. YWAM staff members will be available at all times during your stay to organize and direct your trip (team members 18 years and under will still need adequate supervision from the team leaders).
Staff members will pray with you, teach devotionals, give history and details of each ministry area, and provide ministry training for your team. In return, it is our desire to see God change and challenge you and your team!
We want you to leave New York City with a fresh passion and vision for your own hometown.
